Not according to this report from the Intergenerational Foundation Think tank
It compared economic wellbeing, relationships, health, personal environment and a sense of belonging from 3 national surveys:
- 1995 – Participants born 1964-1975
- 2005 – Participants born 1976-1985
- 2015 – Participants born 1986-1995
Overall it found that today’s 20-year olds had experienced a 10% decline in overall wellbeing – particularly in terms of personal relationships.
The BBC has a quiz onto its website which enables you to consider how you compare.
