A history of General Elections online exhibition based on LSE Library archives.
It has images of artefacts and blog postings on the history of parliamentary elections from 1838 onwards. It highlights the founding of the Conservative and Labour parties, women’s suffrage and electoral reforms. Contributions are written by specialist curators and there is an accompanying resource list to guide further research in the archives.
