This useful free source has been developed by the Joint Research Centre in cooperation with the Conflict Prevention, Peacebuilding and Mediation Instruments Division within the EU.
It uses open source statistics to calculate, using quantitative data, the risk of violent conflict in the next 4 years. Detailed information on the methodology is provided on the website. Indicators relating to ethnicity, democracy, human rights and natural resources are used.
Mapping Arms Trade Treaty (ATT)-Relevant Cooperation and Assistance Activities Database expanded. New from the SIPRI (Stockholm International Peace Research Institute) the database now includes information on initiatives in East Asia and South East Asia since 2012.
