Reframe specialises in media and cultural studies. Its editorial staff are based at the University of Sussex.
The book contains papers from a 2013 symposium hosted by the group topics covered include:
- the take up and usage of tablets
- readers and iPads across many walks of life, including academic, artistic, pedagogical, medical, corporate, activist and everyday contexts
