The Prado Museum’s new Digital Library
…provides free access to a searchable catalogue of full text books and journals covering art history published from the late 15th to the early 20th century. There are sections on key artists such as Goya and Raphael and many prints from rare books. Some text is in Spanish only.

The Glasgow Society of Lady Artists
Searchable resource biographies of members of The Glasgow Society of Lady Artists. This organisation was founded in 1882 by eight women who were some of the first female students at the Glasgow School of Art and gives insight into women artists of the period. The site is a work in progress from Academic scholar Dr Karen Mailley.
Digital Art History Directory
Digital Art History Directory.Recently launched by the Art Libraries Society of North America, a free resource which aims to provide a single platform to examples of digital art history websites as well as case studies on their organisation and implementation. It has a directory of open images and open data websites.
The Children’s Art Gallery
The Children’s Art Gallery in Lagos, Nigeria, displays and sells art by children from low-income families. Other galleries have recently opened in Ghana and Zimbabwe. Read also a recent Guardian article about the gallery.
