A major exhibition about punk, Rage and Revolution is now on at New Walk Museum. It is supported by the University, specifically the newly-founded Heritage Hub and Emma Parker from the School of Arts has contributed to it having written the text on Joe Orton’s influence on punk, and on women and punk.
Emma will be hosting a Punk Literature event as part of the punk weekender on 19th August and can also be seen in the ‘Leicester’s Creative Connection‘ film, the untold story of Leicester’s major contribution to punk.
