A new framework of guidelines as been issued by IFES which will help officials monitor, assess and respond to gender violence during elections.
Other useful international organisations examining women and political participations include the IPU they have up to date figures on women’s parliamentary representation worldwide. They also maintain a free bibliographic database where you can search for free references to articles covering all aspects on women and politics.
