The World Economic Forum opens at Davos this week with the release of its 2016 Global Risks report.
The risks are divided into five categories: economic, environmental, geopolitical, societal and technological.
Oxfam released a report that showed shows that the wealth of the poorest half of the world’s population – that’s 3.6 billion people – has fallen by a trillion dollars since 2010. However, not all commentators accept this: see the criticism from the FT.blog.
