Offers free access to transcripts, and for more recent examples, audio and videofiles of important speeches from 1789 to the present day. They include inaugural addresses, State of the Union speeches and farewell addresses.
Specialist archive of Michigan State University. Holds over 40,000 hours of spoken word recordings, dating back to 1888. Includes speeches from many US presidents. Website offers free access to some sound clips
