What does the public in 6 countries think of AI usage in the news?
Reuters Institute for Journalism has surveyed awareness and use of generative AI by members of the public in six countries (Argentina, Denmark, France, Japan, the UK, and the US) and asked how they think it might be used by journalists.
While many have tried AI (especially ChatGPT) frequent use is rare at present.
