Windrush 75 portal – New from the National Archives, a place to find out about the history and impact of the arrival of the Empire Windrush. 22nd June 2023 marked 75 years since HMT Empire Windrush docked and its passengers, mostly from the Caribbean, disembarked. The site focuses on their history as told through documents from the government and held in the government archives.
the site also holds research guides form specialists on tracing Caribbean history and ancestry.
