Say my name right

Say my Name Right is a shareable resource developed by Dr Hannah Deakin-Smith and Dr Jane Pilcher of Nottingham Trent University.

It draws on findings from the Say My Name research project funded by the British Academy which explored the impact on students of staff avoiding saying their name or mispronouncing it.
It emphasizes how important it is for staff to learn how to address international students correctly and pronounce names with which they may not be familiar.
