The 2020 Edelman Trust Barometer measures levels of trust in business, NGOs and the media. It records declining levels of trust in the media and government who are perceived as both incompetent and unethical. The online survey was conducted in 28 markets.34,000+ respondents total. Transparency International recently released the Corruption Perceptions Index. The CPI scores 180 countries and territories by their perceived levels of public sector corruption, according to experts and business people. This year Denmark and New Zealand are viewed as the least corrupt in terms of election integrity and the power of money in politics.
