Just released by The Center for Energy Studies at Rice University’s Baker Institute for Public Policy this detailed mapping of the oil infrastructure of China pulls together in one place detailed information.
The visualization focuses on four core categories of infrastructure: (1) crude oil pipelines, (2) refined product pipelines, (3) oil refineries, and (4) crude oil and products storage facilities.
The map strives to provide the data on a facility-by-facility level and covers following data points: facility name, location, owner/operator, designed capacity, and operating status.
The methodology is provided and their plans for regular updates.
