Human rights day

The United Nations observance of this day occurs every 10^th December.  The official website has related resolutions and news for 2018.

Here are some recommended resources on human rights:

• Human Rights Documentation Initiative (HRDI)  based at the University of Texas. This project provides access to documents and archived versions of key websites. They include a Rwandan Genocide Archive.
• Human Rights Web Archive- Columbia University A searchable collection of archived copies of human rights websites.  These include non-governmental organisations, national human rights institutions, tribunals and individual homepages, some sites captured since 2008.  A great place for tracing materials that may otherwise have disappeared from the Web.
• University of Minnesota Human Rights Library  Specialist site for researchers proving free access to over 65,000 full text documents.  Key features include country profiles, information on international treaty ratification and subject-based bibliographies.
