The MMIW Database logs cases of missing and murdered indigenous women, girls, and two spirit people in Canada and the United States, from 1900 to the present. It is being complied by a PhD Student Annita Lucchesi. The website provides information about current under reporting and lists her research reference sources. It has data on the extent of the problem and researchers can apply to access the data.
