China has become the biggest donor of aid to Africa- read more about the background in this interesting article from the Conversation.
The Economist has also recently launched the China Going Global Index . which you can download from its website after free registration. It ranks 59 major economies in terms of their attractiveness to Chinese firms.
Traditionally OECD countries have been the biggest donors to Africa. The OECD website has data on this and some discussion and data on the role increasingly played by China.
The China Aid Data website is monitoring data and has developments and visualizations. You can search by projects.
The China Africa Research Initiative from Johns Hopkins University was established in 2014 and collects information on investment, aid and Chinese involvement in all sectors.
