A really useful listing from Access to Mideast and Islamic Resources (AMIR) blog which draws together in one place an A-Z listing of links to news resources that can be difficult to trace via other means. It lists over 200 titles arranged by country of origin.
Other good sources of historic newspapers it is worth revisiting include:
- Chronicling America: Historic American Newspapers the excellent free website maintained by the Library of Congress. Search hundreds of full text newspapers from1789-1924. The site also has information about American newspapers from 1690 onwards
- Trove Digital newspapers from the National Library of Australia (1803-1982)
- Welsh Newspapers Online Digital collection of 19th century Welsh newspapers from the National Library of Wales
- Europeana search historic newspaper titles (many full text) from many of Europe’s largest national libraries.
