A major new report launched last week by the Equality and Human Rights Commission examines the nature of disadvantage in Britain in 2016. It maps the nature and extent of equality and human rights today, finding a number of groups such as the disabled continue to suffer discrimination and disadvantage. The site gives access to a number of data sources covering 10 areas or ‘domains’: Life, Health, Physical security; Legal security, Education; Standard of living; Productive and valued activities; Individual, family and social life; Identity, expression and self-respect and Participation, influence and voice.
