The European Data portal has now passed from Beta to permanence. You can now use it to quickly find news and the latest open data from EU nations. It includes 13 browsable categories ranging from health to cities. There is also a data training companion.
Also growing is the broader OpenAire website which now has 50 partners, from all EU countries, and beyond. It includes data and publications: https://www.openaire.eu/
