An independent non-profit site which seeks to document the experiences of Asian Americans. This is defined broadly as the diaspora from Bangladesh, Bhutan, India, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan and Sri Lanka.
The online archive has at the moment over 1,600 items. These include photographs, oral histories, documents and examples of popular culture such as advertising. There is also a first days project where immigrants can share their first day in the USA with the online community. A great source for social historians.
