Also on this theme get free access to the latest annual ranking of Freedom of the Press in over 190 nations which has just been published by Freedom House. The site also has an archive of all rankings from 1980-2013 which users can download in Excel.
Reporters Without Borders also have an annual press freedom index. Archived rankings from 2002-2013 can also be downloaded.
