This is a country-by-country global study that measures the impact of the Web on the world’s people and nations. 61 developed nations are covered and a variety of economic social impacts considered, including the the infrastructure and level of accessability. Ultimately the nations are ranked in terms of how much the Internet is being harnessed to improve citizens lives. UK is in third place, with Sweden and the USA topping the league.
