The School of English now has a full Master’s (M.A.) programme in Creative Writing. The course, which is available both full-time (1 year) and part-time (over 2 years), will officially start in October 2016. Applications are now open. You can see more details about the course here:

The course grows out of a vibrant Creative Writing and literary scene in the university and city, and has close connections with Literary Leicester Festival, the Centre for New Writing, Leicester Shindig, Crystal Clear Creators and the regional writing scene in general. It will help students develop their writing (fiction, poetry, creative non-fiction, scripwriting and so on) in a supportive and stimulating environment, taught by experienced professional writers and teachers of the subject.
If you’d like more information about the course, please do email me, Dr. Jonathan Taylor, on jt265@le.ac.uk.
