Ian Clark

Ian is professor of employment relations in the school of management and deputy director of the centre for sustainable work and employment futures which is funded by the ESRC and MRC. Ian is currently working on several projects, one focussed on the impact of financialization on managers and workers, a second project examines the impact of new ownership categories of firms on employment relations and a third project examines the impact of NHS modernization on health care assistants. Ian is a Leicester graduate and was taught by Ronald Meek, Peter Jackson, Martyn Hoskins, Derek Aldcroft, Jack Spence, Eric Dunning and Joe and Olive Banks.
