April began with an amazing run of Shakespeare’s Richard III at Leicester Cathedral. The venue was perfect! Just the right amount of echo and atmosphere to create the right amount of tension. The point where Buckingham comes charging through the Cathedral doors was particularly effective. Well done LUTheatre!
Apart from a visit from the Department of Business, Innovation and Skills to find out more about the Richard III project in April, things have started to calm down a bit. This means it is time to evaluate and plan ahead.
Here is one of the word clouds created with the feedback from some of the primary school children sent in after their joint Genetics and Archaeology sessions on campus. I love the inclusion of chimpanzee and feet, two things that must stick in Year 5 minds.
