Two upcoming festivals

Leicester Writes

Over the next couple of weeks, I (Jonathan Taylor) am taking part in two Literary Festivals, both of which are open to the public.

On Saturday 20 June, 12-1pm, I’ll be chairing a session at the Tablet Literary Festival in Birmingham. The panel, which is entitled “The Spirit and the Story,” will include well-known and award-winning novelist, editor and short-story writer, Jacob Ross, and poet, journalist and short-story promoter, Cathy Galvin – as well as myself. We will be talking about the intersections of faith, religion and fiction. You can see more details here.

On Saturday 27 June, 11.15-12.15pm, I’ll be taking part in a panel at the new Leicester Writes Festival, run by writer and publisher Farhana Shaikh. The panel, which is entitled “Write Your Novel and Get Published,” will include myself, novelist and short-story writer Will Buckingham, novelist and short-story writer Alison Moore, and writer and publisher Tom Chalmers. We will be discussing aspects of novel-writing, publishing and promotion and also answering questions about the processes involved. You can see more details here.

Thanks! Jonathan
