As it is getting chillier out there I thought I would post a reminder about the School of English and their “Now is the Winter…” competition.
The idea is that you sign up and then submit a new interpretation of the opening soliloquy from Shakespeare’s Richard III. The competition is open to all Leicestershire secondary schools, but if you are further afield there are plenty of online resources to download on their website. There will also be workshops and masterclasses available for schools in the competition.
It is worth having a look if you want to know more about this play, Shakespeare or just Richard III in general.
