This lunch time drop in session – April 11th, 12:30-1:30 – is designed for busy academic teaching staff with little time to attend workshop on pedagogical areas they would like to ‘find out a bit more’ about. Bring along your lunch and get involved in small group and large group discussions with colleagues.
Thinking and talking about the following in relation to lecture capture:
- What is it?
- Who is doing it?
- How does it work?
- Why is it significant?
- What are the downsides?
- How do students use lecture capture?
- What are the implications for teaching and learning?
The workshop is aimed at academic teacher/staff who are unfamiliar with lecture capture concepts and wants to dip their toe in, but not necessarily going to incorporate it into their teaching immediately.
