Takeaway Tuesdays are back!

To improve our working lives and promote informal and relaxed interaction between all staff and students, we have introduced Takeaway Tuesdays at RKCSB. Once a month, we choose what takeaway to order and we all get together for lunch at the newly refurbished seminar room. Everyone from the department is welcome to join us, and they can bring their own lunch if they prefer.

The room has also been used for several meetings and talks, such as our joint lab meetings. To maintain a healthy departmental community feeling, we hold scientific meetings that currently include members interested in vascular biology, anaesthesia and, more recently, ion channels. Anyone from the department is very welcome to join us. Both these initiatives are great ways of promoting communication (scientific and otherwise) and bringing people together.
