Update on Career Management activities for PhD researchers

This week YES schemes are featuring heavily in our thoughts.

Engineering YES

Since Sunday afternoon the University of Leicester Engineering YES team, 2014, have been participating in their heat in Milton Keynes.  Activities draw to a close on Wednesday morning (June 4th), with the final pitches for funding.   Best of luck to them.

Biotechnology YES

Entries are currently open for Biotechnology YES 2014.  Any PhD researcher, or Early Career Researcher, interested in taking part should contact MGC5@le.ac.uk.  We currently have enough interested PhD researchers to insure we will have at least one team involved.  However, it would be great to enter multiple teams.  There will be a briefing session here at the University on Monday June 9th, in ATT109, between 1300 and 1400.

Are you doing a PhD in Archaeology & Ancient History?

We are planning a careers event for those researching and studying in the field of Archaeology and Ancient History.  This is provisionally scheduled for the first week of October, mspecific details to follow shortly.  We will be inviting a range of professionals, as guest speakers.  Please do let us know if there are particular areas you would like to see included or any ideas you have for potential speakers.
