Here is a MastCam image of drilling in progress. This is the first ‘minidrill’ hole at Windjana.  You can see that Red Mars is only a very thin layer on the planet. 

I am Geo Science Theme Lead for a couple of days.  However, the science activities are taking second priority for a few days as we go through the different stages of drilling.
