The Modern Records Centre, University of Warwick has <a href=\"https:\/\/warwick.ac.uk\/services\/library\/mrc\/archives_online\/digital\/tradeboard\/disability\/\">an online collection<\/a><br><br>Also this <a href=\"https:\/\/socialhistory.org.uk\/shs_exchange\/remploy-75-years-of-remploy-factories\/\">Social History Society blog post<\/a> from a few years ago by Andy Holroyde, University of Huddersfield, on the history of Remploy. Remploy was established by the British Government to provide sheltered employment \u2013 a term used to denote workplaces dedicated to employing disabled people in an environment \u2018sheltered\u2019 from the competitive pressures of the open employment market.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.tuc.org.uk\/union-reps\/equality-and-discrimination\/disability\">Trade union reports and information<\/a> on disability and the workplace.  Covers rights at work with guides for union reps and advisors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><br>Up to date <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ons.gov.uk\/employmentandlabourmarket\/peopleinwork\/employmentandemployeetypes\/datasets\/labourmarketstatusofdisabledpeoplea08\">data sets on the labour market status of disabled people<\/a> are available from the Office for National Statistics.
