An important part of suffrage campaigning was the organisation of mass processions and parades for the 1911 Coronation of King George V. These Flickr photos<\/a> show preparations, banners, leaflets, tracts letters and so on.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Indeed, it included  a \u2018car of Empire\u2018 designed by Marion Wallace Dunlop  Its purpose is described on the

Laurence Housman helped design this banner <\/a>for the Actresses Suffrage League in their colours of pink and green which was first carried at 1911 Coronation parade.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
