At that rate of growth, it would take 51.8 years for BAME participation in postgraduate research to reach the equivalent proportion at undergraduate level.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<p class=\"x_x_MsoNormal\">In 2018\/19, 48.19% of BAME PGRs received no award or financial backing for their tuition fees, as compared with 32.66% of White PGRs.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div>\n<p class=\"x_x_MsoNormal\">Also released recently, an article in\u00a0<a title=\"Original URL: https:\/\/www.newscientist.com\/article\/mg24632882-500-minority-scientists-still-face-many-forms-of-institutional-racism\/.
