This can vary considerably <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ons.gov.uk\/peoplepopulationandcommunity\/healthandsocialcare\/healthandlifeexpectancies\/articles\/whataffectsanareashealthylifeexpectancy\/2018-01-18\">according to area <\/a>and socio-economic status.<\/p>\n<p>For comparisons with worldwide data see:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/unstats.un.org\/unsd\/demographic-social\/products\/dyb\/index.cshtml\">UN Demographic Yearbook \u00a0<\/a>Free access to all editions from 1948 onwards. Covers population size, births, deaths, marriage, divorce for nations worldwide.\u00a0 Also covers foreign-born populations.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/data.un.org\/Search.aspx?q=life%2Bexpectancy\">UNData tables on life expectancy<\/a> &#8211; includes breakdowns by gender.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.who.int\/gho\/mortality_burden_disease\/life_tables\/en\/\">World Health Organization-<\/a> Global Health Observatory includes tables on health expectancy by country and healthy life expectancy<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"https:\/\/www.popline.org\/\">Popline <\/a>&#8211; maintained by the Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs with US government funding provides references to literature covering all aspects of population, fertility and family planning published since 1970. It includes articles on mortality and life expectancy.
