It records that from 2013-2017 usage and access has been increasing <\/span>more rapidly <span style=\"color: #000000\">in developing nations <\/span>than elsewhere.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-size: 12pt\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pewglobal.org\/2018\/06\/19\/social-media-use-continues-to-rise-in-developing-countries-but-plateaus-across-developed-ones\/\">However its survey<\/a><span style=\"color: #000000\"> also shows considerable digital divides between areas of the world. <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"color: #000000\"> It is s<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">till the case that people in <\/span>richer<span style=\"color: #000000\"> countries have higher rates of internet use and <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">smartphone ownership.
