A<span style=\"color: #000000\">lmost two thirds of teachers surveyed felt this was increasing anxiety and <\/span>effecting <span style=\"color: #000000\">wellbeing in children.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Results cover primary and <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/literacytrust.org.uk\/research-services\/research-reports\/fake-news-and-critical-literacy-final-report\/\">secondary age children and the results can be downloaded from the website.<\/a><\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif;font-size: 12pt\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">Interestingly this week the <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/reutersinstitute.politics.ox.ac.uk\/risj-review\/trust-misinformation-and-declining-use-social-media-news-digital-news-report-2018\">Reuters Institute<\/a><span style=\"color: #000000\"> 2018 Digital News report\u00a0found a decrease in use of social media for news by the general public.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>According to the final report from the Commission on Fake News and the Teaching of Critical Literacy Skills\u00a0which was established by the All-Party Parliamentary Group (APPG) on Literacy and the National Literacy Trust.
