Its aims as stated on the website include &#8220;t<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">o introduce students to the multi-dimensional and multi-level nature of globalisation.\u00a0 <\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">It presents data on a wide range of topics and from a broad range of international statistical resources.&#8221;<br \/>\n<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: 'Arial',sans-serif\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">These include United Nations statistics, as well as those from other international organisations on 193 countries dating back to 1960.<br \/>\nTopics covered include: population, economic development and trade, energy and natural resources, agriculture and fisheries governance.
