(2015) <em>Competitive cities for jobs and growth : what, who, and how<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0objective of this report is to create a knowledge base on what\u00a0 makes cities competitive, to improve the understanding of\u00a0 job creation at the city level, and to establish a foundation for a community of practice on this topic.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.atkearney.com\/research-studies\/global-cities-index\/2015\">The A.T.\u00a0Kearney Global Cities Index<\/a> (GCI) ranks 125 cities according to 27 criteria\u00a0across five main themes: business activity, human capital, information exchange, cultural experience, and political engagement.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jll.com\/Research\/JLL_Global300.pdf\">JLL\u2019s Global300 cities<\/a> has a ranking of cities worldwide attracting the most commercial real estate activity.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.pwc.com\/us\/en\/cities-of-opportunity.html\">Cities of Opportunity:<\/a> Price Waterhouse Cooper ranks 30 leading cities in terms of social and economic factors such as cost, transport infrastructure, safety, ease of doing business.<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Find out by downloading a recent working paper from the World Bank &#8211; Kilroy, A.F.L., Mukim, M., Negri, S.
