{"id":2117,"date":"2015-08-20T10:01:05","date_gmt":"2015-08-20T10:01:05","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/staffblogs.le.ac.uk\/socscilibrarians\/?p=2117"},"modified":"2024-11-26T17:50:05","modified_gmt":"2024-11-26T17:50:05","slug":"african-online-digital-library","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/staffblogs.le.ac.uk\/socscilibrarians\/2015\/08\/20\/african-online-digital-library\/","title":{"rendered":"African Online Digital Library"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif'\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">The <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/aodl.org\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">African Online Digital Library<\/span><\/a><span style=\"color: #000000\"> is\u00a0a collaborative project between MATRIX, the Center for Digital Humanities and Social Sciences, the African Studies Center, and universities and cultural heritage organizations in Africa.\u00a0 It\u00a0is a portal to multimedia collections about Africa.\u00a0 It provides a single site access to 16 collections of high quality electronic materials covering African history, politics and culture.\u00a0 Particular highlights are: <\/span><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-family: 'Calibri','sans-serif'\"><span style=\"color: #000000\">the <\/span><a href=\"http:\/\/africanactivist.msu.edu\/\"><span style=\"color: #0000ff\">African Activist Archive<\/span><\/a><span style=\"color: #000000\"> which covers American Activism for Africa in the 20<sup>th<\/sup> century.
