This\u00a0 has been mirrored\u00a0 in <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bls.gov\/opub\/mlr\/2014\/article\/independence-for-young-millennials-moving-out-and-boomeranging-back.htm\">USA census data<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bls.gov\/opub\/mlr\/2014\/article\/independence-for-young-millennials-moving-out-and-boomeranging-back.htm\">In a 2011 article Anne Berrington and Jane Falkingham considered the causes of the changing nature of young UK adults living arrangements. They highlighted key factors\u00a0as increasing economic uncertainty and the impact of the expansion of higher education.<\/a><\/li>\n<li>In <a href=\"https:\/\/england.shelter.org.uk\/__data\/assets\/pdf_file\/0007\/906820\/2014_07_The_Clipped_Wing_Generation_FINAL.pdf\">2014, Shelter referred to the \u2018clipped wing generation\u2019<\/a> whose \u2018main reason\u2019 for returning home was lack of affordable housing. Their <a href=\"http:\/\/england.shelter.org.uk\/professional_resources\/policy_and_research\/policy_library\">online policy library <\/a>has further examples of related research.<\/li>\n<li>The <a href=\"http:\/\/www.cih.org\/news-article\/display\/vpathDCR\/templatedata\/cih\/news-article\/data\/Young_people_and_people_on_lower_incomes_paying_the_price_for_our_broken_housing_market\">Chartered Institute of Housing<\/a> has also recently referred to \u2018young people\u2019 as suffering from a \u2018broken housing market.\u2019<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.jrf.org.uk\/policy-briefing\/housing\">Joseph Rowntree Foundation<\/a> has many recent reports on the social impact of housing affordability.<\/li>\n<li>For a more positive viewpoint on the benefits of returning home see some <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pewsocialtrends.org\/2012\/03\/15\/the-boomerang-generation\/\">Pew Social Research <\/a><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Are you part of the \u2018boomerang generation\u2019?
