Its resolution <a href=\"http:\/\/www.un.org\/en\/ga\/search\/view_doc.asp?symbol=A\/RES\/67\/146\">A\/RES\/67\/146 <\/a>calls upon governments to end the practice which is regarded as a violation of human rights.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/data.unicef.org\/resources\/no-time-to-lose-female-genital-mutilation-cutting\">UNICEF <\/a>estimated in 2014 that 130 million women were affected by FGM. Its website also contains <a href=\"http:\/\/data.unicef.org\/child-protection\/fgmc\">detailed country data <\/a>and future worldwide predictions.<\/li>\n<li><a href=\"http:\/\/www.unfpa.org\/resources\/projections-number-girls-ages-15-19-who-will-experience-fgmc-2010-2030\">UNFPA <\/a>estimated (2013) By the end of 2010, 13.7 million girls aged 15-19 had experienced some form of FGM.
