It covers 15 areas, including personal financial situation, affordability of housing, health care provision, the way national governments address inequalities and poverty and the perceived changes to the cost of living.<br \/>\nThis is the 5th wave following the 1st conducted <a href=\"http:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/public_opinion\/archives\/eb_special_320_300_en.htm#315\">in 2009 (Special EB 315)<\/a>, the 2nd <a href=\"http:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/public_opinion\/archives\/eb_special_359_340_en.htm#349\">in 2010 (Special EB 349)<\/a>,\u00a0 the 3rd <a href=\"http:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/public_opinion\/archives\/eb_special_379_360_en.htm#370\">in 2011 (Special EB 370)<\/a>\u00a0 and the 4th <a href=\"http:\/\/ec.europa.eu\/public_opinion\/archives\/eb_special_399_380_en.htm#391\">in 2012 (Special EB 391)<\/a>\u00a0all of which can also be downloaded from the website.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The Special Eurobarometer on social climate &#8230;monitors perceptions of the economic situation of households, of the national economy and social protection in EU nations .
