The focus is upon broadband for development.<\/p>\n<p>Other useful sources of data on broadband include: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.itu.int\/net4\/itu-d\/icteye\/\">ITU ict eye <\/a>which is a free source of statistics. It has basic data on fixed and broadband internet connections from 1998 onwards by country.<\/p>\n<p>For the <a href=\"http:\/\/stakeholders.ofcom.org.uk\/market-data-research\/other\/telecoms-research\/broadband-speeds\/\">UK Ofcom<\/a> has broadband maps and data<\/p>\n<p>They also have <a href=\"http:\/\/stakeholders.ofcom.org.uk\/binaries\/research\/broadband-research\/scorecard.pdf\">a European broadband score card<\/a> which compares nations earlier in 2013<\/p>\n<p>For further information on <a href=\"http:\/\/epp.eurostat.ec.europa.eu\/statistics_explained\/index.php\/Information_society_statistics_at_regional_level\">EU nations see the Eurostat website<\/a>.
