Findings include more acceptance, however at the same time discrimination continues.\u00a0 This week the US government housing agency HUD released its first survey on<a href=\"http:\/\/www.huduser.org\/portal\/publications\/fairhsg\/discrim_samesex.html\"> housing discrimination against same-sex <\/a>couples in metropolitan rental markets via advertisements on the Internet.<\/p>\n<p>Also useful on this, a \u00a0recent <a href=\"http:\/\/www.people-press.org\/2013\/06\/06\/in-gay-marriage-debate-both-supporters-and-opponents-see-legal-recognition-as-inevitable\/\">Pew study from the research centre on the People and the Press<\/a> covers American attitudes towards gay marriage. \u00a0See also their <a href=\"http:\/\/www.pewglobal.org\/2013\/06\/04\/the-global-divide-on-homosexuality\/\">Global Attitudes survey on worldwide acceptance of homosexuality<\/a> in different countries which is quite shocking in terms of the attitudes expressed towards gay people by the public in some regions of the world.<\/p>\n<p>For the UK, \u00a0British social attitudes surveys regularly ask questions on attitudes towards homosexuality. <a href=\"http:\/\/www.natcen.ac.uk\/series\/british-social-attitudes\">The free summaries map some changing<\/a> attitudes.\u00a0Data is for over 25 years.\u00a0 Access some detailed data files via the <a href=\"http:\/\/www.natcen.ac.uk\/series\/british-social-attitudes\/25-years-of-bsa\">British Social Attitudes Information System<\/a><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Survey of LGBT Americans- attitudes experiences and values Latest data from Pew research.
