I am a Lecturer in Media and Communication at the University of Leicester. I am currently working on the project ‘Performing Citizenship: Arts, Citizenship and Public Life’ looking at how artists make sense of their interventions in public debates about migration, belonging and citizenship through their artistic practice. My research interests include cosmopolitanism, film, mediated dissent and the public sphere, religion, and urban protest politics.
