The High Resolution Stereo Imager Experiment (HiRise) onboard the Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter MRO has returned new images of the Bradbury landing site and Curiosity itself.  HiRise at full resolution has pixel sizes of 25 cm which means it can resolve objects that are about 3 times that size, the 3 m long rover thus be imaged. Part of the significance of the imaging is that it can be used to document changes in the landing site due to the landing e.g. contamination of the soil.<\/p>\n
