These images are part of a work called The centre of the world<\/em>. They are photos taken in Boncellino, a hamlet near Bagnacavallo, in the Ravenna Province, where my uncle spent much of his adolescence. Despite being a small village, it has remained for him one of the most significant places in his life. I realized that one day when I took him there. I had my camera with me and I took some pictures. Subsequently I went back several times on my own to take more. Looking at the place with my own eyes, in tribute to his memories. I borrowed the title from an episode of Edgae Reitz\u2019s film Heimat<\/em>, where a similar situation occurs.<\/p>\n

Queste immagini fanno parte di un lavoro che si chiama Il centro del mondo<\/em>. Sono foto realizzate a Boncellino, frazione di Bagnacavallo, provincia di Ravenna, dove mio zio ha trascorso buona parte della sua adolescenza. Nonostante sia un piccolo borgo per lui \u00e8 rimasto uno dei luoghi pi\u00f9 significativi della sua esistenza. Me ne sono reso conto un giorno che l\u2019ho accompagnato a visitarlo. Avevo la macchina fotografica e ho fatto qualche foto. Successivamente ci sono ritornato da solo pi\u00f9 volte per realizzarne altre. Guardando il luogo con i miei occhi in omaggio ai suoi ricordi. Il titolo l\u2019ho preso in prestito da un episodio del film Heimat<\/em> di Edgar Reitz nel quale si verifica una situazione analoga.<\/p>\n
