International Open Access Week<\/a> is an opportunity for the academic and research community to continue to learn about the potential benefits of Open Access, to share what they\u2019ve learned with colleagues, and to help inspire wider participation in helping to make Open Access a new norm in scholarship and research. This year\u2019s theme, Community Over Commercialisation<\/strong>, encourages a candid conversation about which approaches to open scholarship prioritize the best interests of the public and the academic community\u2014and which do not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n


To celebrate Open Access Week, the Library\u2019s Research Services Team are running a program of events across the week for researchers to learn more about Open Access \u2013 what it is, how to do it, and what\u2019s in it for you. Some events are open to all and some are for University of Leicester staff and students: this is indicated in the listing. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
